         STAYING SOCIAL: THE

         PFOA’S ONLINE PROFILE

          The PFOA social media profile
consists of LinkedIn, Instagram and a
          closed private PFOA Facebook group
          with 532 members.
The PFOA Twitter account has been
removed due to a number of trolls
tagging us in their views. The Museum
of Armed Policing remains active on
          Twitter, although tweets have been
limited due to proposals to extend HQ
          and the Museum.
Our blogs are shared across police
          open Facebook groups, LinkedIn
and Instagram. LinkedIn is proving a
successful platform for the PFOA over
          the past 12 months.
We have had a successful social
media campaign - supporting one of
our members, who is from Ukraine,
asking for first aid equipment to be
          donated.
