Over the past month or so Debbie in the PFOA office has been busy processing new members and filing the accounts for the first year, as well as arranging the AGM on March 19th!We are due to visit Lancashire Federation to receive a donation which has effectively enabled all the AFOs in Lancashire to join the PFOA free for a year! More news and pictures will follow shortly.
We have received a donation of £500 from Mr & Mrs Gray. They were assisted by one of our members at a road traffic collision. An incredibly generous donation. Further details about this can be found on the members part of website.
The AGM on 19th March is ever nearer. We have about 35 people attending from all over the UK including Scotland, Guernsey, North Yorkshire and Dorset!
A full report of the AGM will be made available to all members as well as the accounts for the year.
We have had another force arrange for members to subscribe direct from pay, thanks to Essex Police for this and our 'man' in Essex for his hard work.
We are having some new tri-fold leaflets printed, these will be available on request and will also be sent to all firearms units in the UK. T shirts will be available for purchase, and PFOA mugs...no jokes please! a picture of the chairman modelling these can be found below! (could not make pic smaller..sorry!)
If you know of any companies that want to offer discount to members please let us know and we will contact them and arrange for information to be made available.
