Northants Firearms Unit Family Day

Last Sunday the PFOA helped sponsor the Northants Firearms Unit Family Day. It was a great occasion with many officers and their families attending. The 50m drive in range was used for the kids entertainment, an air rifle range, operational vehicles and the PFOA stand, the highlight of which was one of our spanking new BMW 118 SE's on display! Myself, Karl Smith and Roger Middleton were in attandence along with Karl's wife Mandy their son William and friend Dave. We did a short presentation to the partners of the firearms officers telling them about the association and what we can do to assist them and their children, whilst the kids and officers enjoyed the bouncy castle and table football inflatable!
There was plenty of food about, and sweets were everywhere! I think we must have all lost a few fillings chewing on drumsticks all day!! Great day though, thanks Dave, and the Northants firearms dept!
