Training Blog 4
Its been an incredible few weeks since my last blog. I have been out to Chile, where I entered the 'San Ryvita' downhill race. I also tested a new headcam which was great. For the video of my final run click HERE
Back to reality though...I have had a few quiet weeks, firstly I got Man Flu, then got caught up with that horrible thing called work, and the Winsor review! I have continued to play combat badminton, and as i write I am laying in bed with a knackered left knee. I also decided to paint the outside of my house, a job I wish I had never started!
Thats the excuses over with...I have entered the Rapha, Hell of the North, 100k ride along with Simon and Harry from Team PFOA. This is on the 10th April and sounds great fun!!!
Its now one year till we set of on our epic (mad) journey. The AGM is coming up where we are hoping to get the team together for a meet and to plan the next few months.
Roger has still not got his bike, but has increased his carb intake dramatically...I was with him at the Heathrow Family Day, where I witnessed first hand his cycle training carb programme...a Mac Donalds breakfast, followed by a Mac Donalds dinner with large chocolate milkshake...he was buzzing afterwards, but only just made it to his car!
