The separate bathroom, which leads from the kitchen, has a bath with shower, hand basin and lavatory. The small fully equipped kitchen opens onto the sitting/dining room. There are many appliances including an electric cooker, microwave, toaster and a tall fridge/freezer, oh yes, and an iron and ironing board for all you that need one. The large (27sq m) balcony has two sun loungers, a table with four chairs – and a great (Sterling) gas BBQ. We have few rules – but to keep the flat clean and fresh we ask you not to smoke inside. There is a big (50 foot long) quiet shared swimming pool with a large patio area – fantastic on hot sunny days. Note that Paphos has 320 sunny days a year ! |
WHAT'S THE ACCOMMODATION?
This delightful flat is centrally located in historic Paphos (Pafos), next to the Nereus Hotel and close to the harbour, the famous fort, and the Alexander the Great Hotel. It has a large (25ft long) private balcony accessible by double patio doors from both the sitting room and bedroom. The flat enjoys full air conditioning and has a fully fitted kitchen and a separate bathroom.
The pretty bedroom has a pine double bed, double wardrobe, cupboards, pine chest of drawers and dressing table.
The sitting/dining room has two single armchairs and a metal action sofa bed. This sofa bed is NOT intended for regular use by adults, so the accommodation is offered as a ONE bedroom flat. There is a pine dining table, with chairs for four people, a Freeview satelite TV with a DVD player, a seperate CD/radio, and a new electronic safe to secure your valuables. Ceiling fans in both rooms give a welcome breeze on the hottest days.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
In summer 2010 (1st March to end of October) we charge £230 per week. That's for the whole flat, NOT per person.
Fancy a winter break ? In the period of 1st November to 31st December 2010 we charge £175 per week. That's only £25 a day, which is far cheaper than a hotel room.
The charges include cleaning the flat before and after your visit. All we ask is that you keep the flat in the condition you found it – nice, clean and tidy! Electricity is included in the price, as is the cost of cleaning the swimming pool. We provide all bedding and towels (now including beach/pool towels). We will send to you before your holiday a long list of information that will help make your holiday go as smooth as possible, which includes a list of restaurants, car hire firms, supermarkets, as well as information regarding a bus service from Paphos Airport to Paphos (costing 3 Euros, in 2009).
Telephone bookings are accepted – as are postal/fax/email. They must be confirmed (within a week) with a £75 per week (or extra part of week) (non- refundable) deposit.
The balance of the fee is required to be cleared into our account no less than one month before the date of departure, otherwise the booking will be cancelled and the deposit lost.
There is also a £250 (returnable as long as there is no damage or loss) "Damage Deposit" which is also required to be in our account at the latest one month before departure.
For cheap flights it is best to look on the Internet AND to book as early as possible. Airlines that fly there are :- Easyjet, BA, Cyprus Airways, Thomas Cook, Globespan, KLM, Transaero, Thomson Fly, Air Berlin, Monarch, TUIfly, Finnair, JetairFLY, Bulgaria Air, Viking, First Choice, EuroCypria and Jet2. WHAT ARE THE LOCAL AMENITIES?
Two Car Hire shops, a Hairdressing Salon and a Launderette are below the flat, within the same block. There are three local shops within 150 metres. There are many great Restaurants, especially seafood and meze, as well as lots of bars and a few clubs about 5 minutes walk, especially in the "Bar Street" area.
We would recommend the car hire chap directly below us called Thrasos, who runs Thrasos Car Rentals. He is very helpful and will meet you at the airport if you want (for free).

The flat is about 500 metres from the main (new) town Harbour frontage and fort, which is a UNESCO world heritage listed site. The flat is also about 400 yards from the Tomb of Kings Road, where the famous archaeological site is located. There are many other facilities here, including Ten Pin Bowling and a Cinema, and of course yet more shops and restaurants! There are many other local facilities, from the aquarium, ampitheatre, water park, as well as scuba diving, snorkelling, golf, fishing, and of course skiing in the Troodos mountains during the winter.

HOW DO WE FIND THE FLAT?
The flat is only 15 minutes from Paphos Airport by taxi, which we can organise for you if you require. There is a (new) bus service from Paphos Airport to Paphos harbour front (costing 3 Euros in 2009). But if you do rent a car, here are the directions from the nearest airports:
FROM PAPHOS AIRPORT
On exiting the airport, turn left towards Paphos and Gerosikipou on road B6.
After about 10km you will come to a roundabout with a store on the right called Debenhams (and Next). Turn left – signposted towards Port and Kato Paphos.
After about 1km at the next roundabout turn right onto E701 – signposted towards Paphos, Polis and Tomb of Kings.
After about 800m there is a large Church on the left, at a set of traffic lights. Turn left here, before the Church.
After 150m turn left at T junction. (There is a Fish & Chip Restaurant opposite called Gregs.)
You are now in Ikaros (Ikarou) Street.
Margarita Gardens (flats) is on the right after 250m.
The entrance to the flats is behind a pub/restaurant called the Swan Irish Pub.
FROM LARNACA AIRPORT
On exiting the airport, follow A6 Motorway to Paphos.
When near Paphos, turn left at the first roundabout, this is signposted towards Kato Paphos.
After about 1km you will come to a roundabout with a store on the left called Debenhams (Next). (There is a sports stadium on your right). Go straight ahead – signposted towards Port & Kato Paphos
After about 1km at the next roundabout turn right onto E701 – signposted towards Paphos, Polis and Tomb of Kings.
